The Duke Quartet and Rolf Hind - Eye of the Fire

In December 2006, The Duke Quartet joins forces with Rolf Hind - pianist, composer and artistic director of the Society for the Promotion on New Music - for three concerts in December.

Eye of the Fire includes Schnittke's String Quintet and Rolf Hind's own Eye of Fire - a blend of spiritual quest and gypsy frenzy, structured around different yoga positions, and named after the third eye which in Hindu tradition can be discovered during meditation.

Concerts take place in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
